I am Melvin Poos; an aspiring game programmer. Currently, I am studying at the NHTV University in Breda, The Netherlands, to become a Game Developer.
I am proficient in C++, Unreal Engine 4, Unreal blueprints and Unity 3D.
I made several games in Unity 3D on Sint Lucas, my previous game education school (community college level) in which I graduated in 2014, but also in the first year at the NHTV University. After the first year of the NHTV we switched over to Unreal Engine 4 and own made engines.
In my first year of the NHTV I started building my own small engine with OpenGL. Later in the second year, I build a 2D engine with a newer version of OpenGL. Furthermore I experimented with DirectX shading techniques.
In my third year of the NHTV I also worked a semester in Lumberyard engine.
I feel due to the variety of projects I have done, I have a solid basis in programming and working in engines.
